Blender 2.64 Time Warping

Hello my friends! I know,i know is been a long time since i last posted here. I was awfully busy!

Now i am back with some new ideas and of course your requests on new tuts based on Blender 2.64 which came with new hot features.
In this video we will explore the effect of Time Warping. With this effect we can give emphasis to events within a footage that was shot with high frame rates such as 100fps and up. The more the FPS ,the better in order to have a better time resolution.

Always remember. Common Cameras such as Cellphones or DSLR usually shoot 24-50 frames per second so we do not have so much time resolution. I used a GoPro Hero 2 for that little shooting.

That camera can capture (sample) 100 frames per second on low resolution (848 x 480). Low quality but it does the trick just fine.

You can download the test footage@100fps 424×240

Of course in case you missed it there is a very early sample here together with sound manipulation that match the speed.

Blender 2.63 Smoke-Fire Simulation Log

Hello my friends and welcome to Smoke-Fire Simulation Log with Blender 2.63.

In this video we will go through experimentation using Blender’s smoke simulator. From a low quality smoke to a 120GB baked simulation ,from a boring static simulation to a composited hi-res presentation with heat distortion using Blender’s node editor. This video is not actually a tutorial…more like an explorers log so and because of that does not has a certain structure and it may seem random and frustrating to beginners. Anyway, this is it. Enjoy :)
